Corneliu Teofil Teaha is since 1997 sole associate and general manager of Teaha Management Consulting. He is also a majority shareholder of the insurance brokerage company Teaha Asigurari and a chairman of the credit union "Creditul Popular" and vice-president of the Romanian Employers’ Association. Corneliu Teofil is an associate professor of the management department of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and has a double specialization, as a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Mechanics and of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics.
Due to various scholarships, he had the opportunity to extend his professional knowledge, among others, at Wirtschaftuniversität Vienna from Austria, Hochschule St-Gallen from Switzerland and Technische Universität Darmstadt of Germany. His knowledge of German-speaking markets and of their fiscal systems have always been a sound basis for the conferences he has organized at the German and Austrian Chambers of Commerce, but also at ANEVAR, the National Association of Romanian Evaluators, CECCAR, the Romanian Body of Chartered and Certified Accountants or at the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants. He is the author of many professional articles published in the German language magazine Debizz, the Turkish magazine Romzaman and other specialized periodicals in Romania. He is a founding member and an internal auditor of the Romanian Club of German Businesspersons, a member of the Romanian Club of Austrian Businesspersons, as well as a member and auditor of the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Romania. He is a member of Lions Club and of the Parish Council of the Church Saint Elefterie the Martyr of Bucharest. He is married and has 4 children.
Carmen Mihaela Simion has been a Senior Partner Teaha Management Consulting since 2005. Among her responsibilities, we can mention the following: management of communication with clients and the expert team of the company, drafting of financial and tax reports for the management, tax consulting and audit in order to identify the risks and opportunities related to clients’ businesses. She also ensures compliance with legal and tax procedures in force; she offers assistance with the implementation and development of accounting systems, as well as consulting services for business strategies, as well as monitoring of developments related to business processes. She is a member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants, Romanian Chamber of Auditors and ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). Apart from that she has completed her academic education with knowledge obtained within specialized seminars and conferences that have been organized by the Romanian Body of Chartered and Certified Accountants (CECCAR), Ernst & Young and the World Trade Institute of Bucharest.
Janina Popescu has been the manager of the Payroll Department since 2006. In this capacity, she coordinates payroll and staff management. She offers specialized consulting concerning employment, labour and payroll regulations and taxation of non-residents. Moreover, Janina controls all formalities that are relevant for employees and employers, as well as the observance of deadlines. She also represents clients at various verifications and audits that are carried out by authorities. She is a graduate of the national School of Political Studies and Public Administration, in the field of "communication and public relations" and has a master’s degree diploma for "managerial communication and human resources".
Cristina Şerban is a member of our team since February 2007. She started her work as Junior Accountant, continued her career as Senior Accountant and the next step was her appointment as Junior Consultant, before she became the manager of the consulting department. In this position, she has developed complex and efficient solutions for various fiscal problems, based on Romanian, as well as European regulations. Cristina is a graduate of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, in the field of engineering (a faculty with courses in foreign languages, in her case, German). At present, Cristina is in course of ACCA certification.
Raluca Marinescu is a Senior Consultant of Teaha Management Consulting since 2006 and the manager the accounting department. She is a member of the Romanian Body of Chartered and Certified Accountants, the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants, as well as in course of certification at the Romanian Chamber of Auditors and ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). Raluca has a long experience in the field of accounting and offers assistance to clients from various fields. Her team is young, dynamic and competent – in spite of an average department age of only 29.
Mihai Mareş joined Teaha Management Consulting in September 2006, as an accountant. Later he was appointed Junior Consultant and then promoted as Consultant. Today he is an accounting manager. Mihai is a graduate of the Academy of Business Studies of Bucharest, at the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchanges. He has a broad experience in the field of accounting and tax consulting and he is a member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants and of the Romanian Body of Chartered and Certified Accountants. At present, he is in course of certification at ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and the Romanian Chamber of Auditors.
Alina Teaha is member of Teaha Management Consulting since its set-up. Today she manages the HR activities of the company and she takes care that the right person is always in the right place. Together with the other members of the management team, she offers support for the professional and personal development of her colleagues. Apart from that, she has a key role in the communication between the members of the team and the management.
